The Overlook House is having a neighborhood ice cream social from 3-6pm on Sunday, Sept 7th. I will offer 5 sparkles for $15 for kiddos at this event. Adults can get sparkles too! Limit 5 so everyone gets a chance. I can probably do 10-15 folks in two hours, fairy hair takes time so there could be a wait. Ice cream is $3, feel free to drop by for this family event if you're in the neighborhood!

Please note the new rate. This is my first effective price increase - the switch to the hourly rate this year was still basically the same sparkles for the same price as before. This is a little more per session, my first effective rate change since 2018. You can absolutely share appointments with friends, if that helps! 

To provide better service, I'm booking further out, so these should not fill up so fast and it won't be so hard to find openings. If it's toward the end of the month and no dates are available, check back for cancellations, or again at the start of the next month. Appts added around the 1st and 15th of each month. Appointments open the 1st and 15th of each month (or thereabouts), for 2 weeks at a time. Fairy Hair Appointments with Sera will open Sept 2nd this month

 Dealing with a very sick kitty today, so appointments will be released tomorrow, Friday Sept 2nd 2022 for the first half of September. I'm taking Friday the 2nd off of sparkling to monitor his condition while he recovers from surgery, and we wait for biopsy results from the mass in his sinuses.

Hi sparkly ones, so sorry for the delay on appts this month. I am in the midst of preparing my mother's Memorial ceremony and it is a very heavy emotional burden for me to bear. I am a bit overwhelmed.

Only two days open this round, June 9th and 10th. The following week is Faerieworlds, I will be in Eugene over that weekend, and back to sparkling after June 20th. Those appts will open June 15th or so.

However, with what I'm going through with my mom's memorial, I cannot answer several private messages at this time. I don't have the time or the energy to handle all of them. I apologize for that. I appreciate your understanding as I struggle through this difficult time.

Sparkly ones! After much lengthy, deep consideration, it feels best to let everyone know that sparkling will be on hold at least through July. I desperately miss sparkling and the joy of catching up with my sparkly people SO MUCH, and would love nothing more than to be sparkling again fully. But not at the risk of my or anyone else’s health or well-being. While there are ways to mitigate the risks, they are complicated and costly, and there are still so many unknowns. We will sparkle again! But I feel so much better waiting until it’s safer for everyone.

On a brighter note, the Fernie Brae may be able to host us again! Although the space is in flux and nothing is for certain, we may be able to use the space for sparkling, and also some shopping, art, inspiration, and magic, hopefully, when the time is right.

I’m endlessly grateful for everyone’s patience and understanding as we tread these new waters together. I know we need our sparkles now more than ever. They will return, rest assured. Let us all stay safe and healthy until we are able to sparkle again, safely and unfettered. ✨🍄🌸
