I'm healing from a hand injury (hence the delay in opening appointments, I couldn't type yesterday! Today it feels better), and will be away Sept 5-8 and Sept 18-22 so sparkling is limited this month, I am also going away in late October, so appointments will be a bit thinner until November, when I ramp up hours for the holidays. ✨

Appointments open the 1st and 15th of each month (or thereabouts), for 2 weeks at a time. They fill in about 24 hours, so if you're not successful, try booking closer to the 1st or 15th if you can - if you would like email reminders, send me a note at serafaery@yahoo.com (you can ask to be removed any time). Also email me with any other questions, I often get overwhelmed but will help as best I can, keep trying, it's helpful as I often lose track of who asked what where :) There are often cancellations this time of year so feel free to check back again if you think of it! ❄️

In January 2023, my rates will increase to an hourly rate with a typical range of sparkles for each amount of time. As always, I offer several extra strands with your service, since there is always some fall-out. I will put this in the description for appt bookings so everyone knows what to expect. This will help try to get me closer to pre-pandemic level of support. 🐦🌲

March 1st edit: Hi sparkly ones, I was supposed to open appts today, but I had The Longest Day Ever and I'm too exhausted tonight - I will open appts Wednesday, March 2nd. 

For appts I always post here first at www.faeryhair.com and then to my email list (email me at serafaery@yahoo.com if you would like to be added), then to social media (facebook/insta/google), and then finally, I reply to the many texts and emails I get from those who aren't able to navigate the website or need the booking link directly texted to them, or need help in other ways.

So sorry for the delay, I know this is a day late! I've been drowning in personal/back end business stuff, but I'm through most of it now, hurray! 💖

Out of town the end of this month, so there are limited slots, again. If you can't find anything let me know, I might be able to squeeze you in on Saturday the 19th, that day is available at Overlook so I can lengthen that day if needed to accommodate more sparkles! 🧚

Vaccine and booster required for Faery Hair Sparkles with Serafaery going forward, winter 2022 😷❄️✨🧚

 Dear sparkly ones: because I have loved ones who are medically fragile, and don't want to put them at risk, going forward for at least the next month, I need to require all of my Faery Hair customers over age 16 to be fully vaccinated AND boosted. I will be checking your cards. If you are scheduled for an appt this week, and not boosted, I can reschedule you for a month out if you like, when we can reassess the situation.

Sparkles postponed - may you have a gentle holiday ✨🧚❄💖🌟

Dear sparklers, it is with a heavy heart that I need to cancel my Faery Hair Sparkles appointments this week (Dec 20-27). The current studies show that the J&J shot I received elicits no anti-body response to the omicron variant, which is now dominant in the US. Even those fully vaxxed without a booster are *at best* 30% protected. People are behaving as if nothing is happening, still gathering and dining indoors together in large numbers, and wearing only cloth masks which are no longer sufficient (I am guilty of this.). It is not safe to expose myself at work until my booster takes effect, which will not be until after the holiday. I'm so sorry for the disappointment, but our health and well-being need to come first. The sparkles will still be here, once I'm boosted! Thank you so much, as always, for the ongoing support, patience, and understanding as we navigate these unstable waves. May you have a gentle holiday. ✨🧚❄💖🌟

Sera (me!) is adjusting to doing business (and life) without a car, and working on taxes this month. I  so appreciate your patience and support as I transition to this new lifestyle, and as I get through this tough time of year. Spring is right around the corner; nurturing all forms of love (not just romantic love - love of the earth and animals, friendship, family, love of art and dance, spiritual love, all of it) during this season keeps my heart warm while waiting. <3
