Solstice is fast upon us, and such sparklings to be had! We are at the Fernie Brae every Friday, this solstice week 11am-7pm for holiday extended hours!

Halloween is sparkle-frenzy time! November updates follow. What surreal times these are.

I apologize for being so difficult to get a hold of, I am fairly swamped and my helpers are incapacitated, this month. I want to sparkle all of you! I've been focusing on working within biking distance from my home, and biking as often as possible, everywhere I can, this year. After a summer where it felt like the world was being burnt and drowned all around us from climate change, the last thing I want to do is get into a car. I will continue this effort for as long as possible, and am changing my availability to reflect my more limited NE and SE Portland range. Please keep an eye out for cyclists; Portland has become a very unfriendly city to bike in. I do not feel safe. But I feel that the planet deserves an extra breath of fresh air, this world has been so generous in supporting me, so I will do my best to support her. I will continue to bike for as long as my body will allow me to do so.

Celestial Summer Sparkles

Hello sparkly friends! Next Faery Hair Friday is 7/28, 11am-7pm, drop in at the Fernie Brae, 4035 SE Hawthorne, Portland - we do this every Friday!

August is a big month! 2nd Star Festival, the solar eclipse, and Faerieworlds, to name a few events and festivals! More details follow!
Dancing Hands will not be doing Faery Hair at Faerieworlds this year, so we have the incredible honor of sparkling in her stead! This is personally so meaningful for me, as she encouraged and helped get me started with her Fhairy Strands, so many years ago. I strive to provide as high quality and magical an experience as she does, in my own way, of course. She can never be replaced!

On another personal note, I have been overwhelmed with messages and calls, I'm so sorry if I've lost track of yours! I am working on clearing and resetting the way I handle these (including getting my number off of some spam lists). Your patience and understanding is so appreciated! Scheduling is hard for me, and the kindness of my customers as I work on it pulls me through and keeps my work joyous and beautiful. So much gratitude for all of you! <3

Ostara is less than a month away, and we will be ringing her in at MythicWorlds in Seattle, March 17-19th. Being Official Faery Hair Faeries for such a big Faery convention is a dream come true and a huge step for us! We can't be more excited, anxious, and thrilled. Sera has passes and coupons for the convention, ask her about these anytime!

Dreaming of a future cottage in the forest, a faery hideout, with quiet breezes, clean water, and magic in the trees. For now, I work on turning my little urban homestead into a dragon's lair workshop, to begin creative work that will sustain me when I eventually leave the city.
