October is very busy with dance events and performances so there will be fewer sparkling hours. I will do my best to add more Sundays in October - most weekends are unavailable at the Overlook House studio (due to weddings). November will be easier to get in :)

If no dates are available, check back for cancellations, or again at the start of the next month. Appts added near the 1st and 15th of each month. It's always okay to email if you have questions, but I might not always be able to respond, I'll do my best but it's a lot to organize for me - it's always okay to try again. :) 

I can offer discounts for fixed incomes or other circumstances. I want faery hair to be accessible to everyone, but I also want it to sustain me enough to continue to do this work. I've been struggling to reply to email or texts at all lately, I will try to do better, please know it is not you! I want to reply to everyone but have been overwhelmed lately. I'm hoping October will be easier for me. I will do my best to address neglected messages over the next couple of days. Thanks so much for your patience with this. September has been extremely emotionally difficult, but I am okay otherwise and I can't wait to get back to more faery hair sparkling. Faery Hair Sparkles friends! I am searching for a safe place to offer Faery Hair Magic this holiday season. Since it's been shown that no virus has been spread from hair services, as long as all protocols are followed, I feel confident that I can return to this work, safely and responsibly. My space will need to be private and all appts will have to be one on one (no more groups, no drop-ins, masks required, pre-screening required, etc.), but with some careful adjustments, we can sparkle together again and bring some lightness and fun into these challenging days.

Thank you so much for your patience as we navigate these difficulties together, I appreciate the support more than I can say!

I will post updates as soon as space is secured and I can begin taking appointments.  Stay safe and take care of each other!

✨Dearest sparklers!  I need to take a step back from sparkling for January only, to focus on family and prep for the coming year of sparkling.  There are no further appointments available for January at this time, though there could be a cancellation here or there, which will show on the calendar if they happen. 

The calendar will open for February appointments 30 days in advance, so on the 2nd of January 2020, Feb 1st should become open, and so on. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience as I take this time to recuperate and work to make sparkling in the future better for everyone. I did take some time away in December, but need more to attend to my family and future business development. I am so grateful for the opportunity to take this much needed rest! I'm nervous to be away from you all, your support is important to me. I hope you will come back to sparkle with me when I'm ready. Can't wait to reconnect and sparkle you again in February! ✨

Imolc, St Brigid's Day, halfway between winter solstice and spring equinox

Already nearly halfway through winter. Time flies. The Imolc, the first of February, marks the halfway point between the winter solstice and spring equinox. It's a potent time, for me. This is a cold, dark time, but with such promise.

November and December Faery Hair Sparkles events and updates

Had the most beautiful day at the Fernie Brae for Faery Hair First Friday, this month. Bryonie made a little sign for me, and the sun was dazzling so I was outside on the porch all day, attracting passers-by with my little holiday fantasy wings. I feel enveloped in support and faery energy when I am there, it is such a happy feeling. The Fernie Brae gallery is so beautiful, I hope you get a chance to check it out if you haven't already.

Faerieworlds was exquisite and painful and beautiful this year. I am still recovering, but merrily back to Faery Hair sparkling.

Summer is fluttering by

Faery frolicking at the Fernie Brae on Sunday for the Hawthorne Street Fair was ridiculously fun. So grateful to all the friendly faces who came to support the faeries and the Brae. Sparkle on!

August is fluttering by so fast.
