Imolc, St Brigid's Day, halfway between winter solstice and spring equinox

Already nearly halfway through winter. Time flies. The Imolc, the first of February, marks the halfway point between the winter solstice and spring equinox. It's a potent time, for me. This is a cold, dark time, but with such promise.

Blessed Imbolc! The dark sleep of winter has nourished the earth, and life within slowly, tentatively, begins to stir. The earliest spring plants start to wake. Faery Hair December 2015

It's still the fall season, but this part of the year before the solstice feels so wintery. Ice and wind and rain and cold gusty nights. Grateful for warm coffee, tea, and friendship. <3

November and December Faery Hair Sparkles events and updates

Had the most beautiful day at the Fernie Brae for Faery Hair First Friday, this month. Bryonie made a little sign for me, and the sun was dazzling so I was outside on the porch all day, attracting passers-by with my little holiday fantasy wings. I feel enveloped in support and faery energy when I am there, it is such a happy feeling. The Fernie Brae gallery is so beautiful, I hope you get a chance to check it out if you haven't already.

Summer is fluttering by

Faery frolicking at the Fernie Brae on Sunday for the Hawthorne Street Fair was ridiculously fun. So grateful to all the friendly faces who came to support the faeries and the Brae. Sparkle on!
