Appointments open the 1st and 15th of each month (or thereabouts), for 2 weeks at a time. They fill in about 24 hours, so if you're not successful, try booking closer to the 1st or 15th if you can - if you would like email reminders, send me a note at serafaery@yahoo.com (you can ask to be removed any time). Also email me with any other questions, I often get overwhelmed but will help as best I can, repeated emails are always okay, it's helpful as I often lose track of who asked what where :) 

I'm out of state the 2nd week of October - more appts will open after Oct 17 or so. 🎃

If you aren't able to get one, feel free to email at serafaery@yahoo.com to see if we can find a spot, I sometimes can add flexibility as the weeks progress, but no promises. I get a ton of messages so don't feel bad about re-sending if I don't reply after a day or two, I often lose track, but I don't mean to ignore anyone! I know this booking system is difficult for some, so I will try to help as best I can if it's not working for you. 

These appts usually fill in 24-48 hours, so if you're not finding something after April 3rd or 4th, best to wait until April 15th or 16th when more appointments are opened. The link works to check for cancellations, too :)

🌸 New! Currently masks are not required, and I am dropping the vaccine requirement for April. I have worn my mask for most of my appointments, still, out of respect for my more cautious customers. (I am vaxed and boosted and still haven't gotten covid or .)

My shoulder is on the mend but still not 100%, so my time is currently limited to 4 appts per day, it gets cranky after that. Hopefully I can add more time in the next week or two, I definitely feel better than I did two weeks ago :)

The faeries have explained carefully that the first half of February is for them. I have very tricky taxes to complete, and the faeries are demanding my attention in quiet, creative ways. I hope to be finished with taxes, and perhaps with a sparkly new website, by February 15th, and will post here when faery hair sparkle appointments for Feb 15th-28th are ready to be released. 💖

 Hi sparkly friends! My friends and I are hosting trick-or-treating at the Historic Overlook House this Sunday, Halloween, 10/31/21 5-9pm, no sparkling during the event but you're welcome to stop by if you're in the neighborhood, get some candy and wave hello! Kiddos are not allowed indoors for Halloween, and we hosts will stay in masks while interacting with them. 

We hope to perform the Thriller zombie dance at 6pm on Halloween, come check us out if you can! 🧟

Fairy Hair Sparkles with Sera in Portland, spring 2021

Hi, sweet sparklies. I will be back to scheduling and sparkling in June, 2021. With  taxes to finish and my husband's first vacation in over a year taking up the second half of May, sparkles will have to wait.

I have been sparkling haphazardly in my new Sparkle and Faery Wing studio at the Overlook House in N Portland, mostly manually scheduling via email at serafaery@yahoo.com and by text at 503-720-5486.  I hope to move back to automated bookings again in June, and will post the new link here, when ready!

My vaccination reached full efficacy April 26th, but all covid requirements for hair services in Oregon remain in place for now: masks required at all times, pre-scheduled appointments only and covid screening questions required, sanitizing all surfaces between appointments, no shared tools or supplies, only one person in the studio with me at a time - friends can join, they hang out in a comfy chair in the hallway where we can still see each other and chat. It's working nicely. (I am just really tired of all the cleaning, and so is the skin on my hands.) I'm upstairs so if you need ADA access, let me know before scheduling and I can bring the sparkles down to the main floor, we have wheelchair access in the Garden Room.

*A note about Fridays: Sera will be sparkling alone going forward, so there will be longer waits, we have a sign in sheet when you arrive, it often fills quickly and can fill up entirely before 3pm or so. If you plan to travel or if timing is an issue, please consider making an appointment on a different day, to avoid disappointment. Sera is taking a break Friday Dec 28th, but Alessandra will be tying sparkles at the Fernie Brae that day. We are totally separate businesses and friends, she ties my faery hair in for me. Any business you conduct together is between the two of you only. <3
