Please note the new rate. This is my first effective price increase - the switch to the hourly rate this year was still basically the same sparkles for the same price as before. This is a little more per session, my first effective rate change since 2018. You can absolutely share appointments with friends, if that helps! 

To provide better service, I'm booking further out, so these should not fill up so fast and it won't be so hard to find openings. If it's toward the end of the month and no dates are available, check back for cancellations, or again at the start of the next month. Appts added around the 1st and 15th of each month. If you'd like email reminders, email me at serafaery@yahoo.com and ask to be put on the list! This list is only for appt reminders 2x per month, and you can ask to be removed at any time. It's always okay to email or message me if you have questions, or to inquire about private events, but I might not always be able to respond, I'll do my best but get overwhelmed easily - it's always okay to try again. :) 

If this entirely prices you out and you want to still see me, please let me know, I can offer discounts for fixed incomes or other circumstances. I want faery hair to be accessible to everyone, but I also want it to sustain me enough to continue to do this work. I love what I do and want to keep doing it forever! Thank you so much for your support and for sparkling with me, I never dreamed I could be a faery for work, it's such a blessing and you bring me so much joy. ✨🧚✨

Hope your December is a gentle one so far.  Today I got an MRI on my troublesome shoulder, and we got keys to a different apartment, so this week is hectic and stressful for this sparkle faery. My availability is more limited than usual this month - I may add more toward the end of the month if the move to the apartment goes smoothly. 

Thanks so much for your patience and support, it means so much to me, especially in the face of such challenges. I am so blessed and grateful for the work I get to do, thank you so much for letting me sparkle you.

This Sunday, December 5th, the Overlook House is having an all-outdoors Meet Santa event from 11am-12:30pm. I plan to be there to add some xmas cheer and faery/elf ambiance, and could potentially sparkle a little in the studio afterwards. If you're not able to find an appointment time that works for you, let me know if this Sunday might work and I'll see what I can do! 🎅🏻

Fairy Hair Sparkles with Sera in Portland, spring 2021

Hi, sweet sparklies. I will be back to scheduling and sparkling in June, 2021. With  taxes to finish and my husband's first vacation in over a year taking up the second half of May, sparkles will have to wait.

I have been sparkling haphazardly in my new Sparkle and Faery Wing studio at the Overlook House in N Portland, mostly manually scheduling via email at serafaery@yahoo.com and by text at 503-720-5486.  I hope to move back to automated bookings again in June, and will post the new link here, when ready!

My vaccination reached full efficacy April 26th, but all covid requirements for hair services in Oregon remain in place for now: masks required at all times, pre-scheduled appointments only and covid screening questions required, sanitizing all surfaces between appointments, no shared tools or supplies, only one person in the studio with me at a time - friends can join, they hang out in a comfy chair in the hallway where we can still see each other and chat. It's working nicely. (I am just really tired of all the cleaning, and so is the skin on my hands.) I'm upstairs so if you need ADA access, let me know before scheduling and I can bring the sparkles down to the main floor, we have wheelchair access in the Garden Room.

✨Dearest sparklers!  I need to take a step back from sparkling for January only, to focus on family and prep for the coming year of sparkling.  There are no further appointments available for January at this time, though there could be a cancellation here or there, which will show on the calendar if they happen. 

The calendar will open for February appointments 30 days in advance, so on the 2nd of January 2020, Feb 1st should become open, and so on. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience as I take this time to recuperate and work to make sparkling in the future better for everyone. I did take some time away in December, but need more to attend to my family and future business development. I am so grateful for the opportunity to take this much needed rest! I'm nervous to be away from you all, your support is important to me. I hope you will come back to sparkle with me when I'm ready. Can't wait to reconnect and sparkle you again in February! ✨
