Holiday Sparkles!

Holidays here we come! Events abound, read on! This week we sparkle SATURDAY (in lieu of Faery Hair Friday), Nov 25th 11am-6pm for Small Business Saturday at the Fernie Brae, 4035 SE Hawthorne. Friday they are closed!

Spent all day today catching up on missed messages. I often miss messages, but never intentionally! If I fail to respond do please try again, I am eager to sparkle but not the best at keeping track of inquiries. Thank you thank you so much for your help with this, it is so appreciated.  I am so grateful for patience and understanding with my scatterbrain - I want to sparkle everyone!

Samhain sparkles 🎃

Halloween is sparkle-frenzy time! November updates follow. What surreal times these are.

I apologize for being so difficult to get a hold of, I am fairly swamped and my helpers are incapacitated, this month. I want to sparkle all of you! Your best bet for guaranteed sparkling is to make a personal appointment with me on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday when I am not booked for another event - text or email anytime, 503-720-5486 or serafaery@yahoo.com (email less likely to get lost).

Faery Hair Fridays are every Friday through the year, 11am-6pm at the Fernie Brae, 4035 SE Hawthorne blvd. Drop-in only, no appointments for Fridays, there is a sign-in list for when you arrive if there is a wait, first-come, first served. Fridays can get very busy, especially evenings. Thank you for your patience! <3

I've been focusing on working within biking distance from my home, and biking as often as possible, everywhere I can, this year. After a summer where it felt like the world was being burnt and drowned all around us from climate change, the last thing I want to do is get into a car. I will continue this effort for as long as possible, and am changing my availability to reflect my more limited NE and SE Portland range. Please keep an eye out for cyclists; Portland has become a very unfriendly city to bike in. I do not feel safe. But I feel that the planet deserves an extra breath of fresh air, this world has been so generous in supporting me, so I will do my best to support her. I will continue to bike for as long as my body will allow me to do so.

Faery Hair Friday is every Friday, 11am-7pm at The Fernie Brae, 4035 SE Hawthorne. The shop will go back to 6pm closure in Fall, but Sera can continue to sparkle on the porch if we want to go later <3

I feel called to make a note to clarify that my beautiful, helpful, cherished sparkling partners, Sarah, Alley, and Heather, pay me nothing and are in no way beholden to me, nor I to them, for their work. If you have any issues with any of them, that is between you and them. They do not work for me. They work on their own and graciously help me with overflow as often as they can, when I ask. They do sometimes purchase packs of sparkles through me, but even that is at their own discretion. Thank you for understanding, and for supporting my friends and our efforts to sparkle the world <3
